Begonia

The first person to document the discovery of the Begonia was a Franciscan monk, Charles Plumier, who found fibrous Begonias in Brazil in 1690. Since then, Begonia has become a popular houseplant, admired for both its flowers and its foliage. Begonias grown as houseplants fall into two categories: those known for their leaves, and those valued for the plant's impressive blooms. There are so many varieties and interesting Begonias to choose - each plant lover will admire something different about this plant.
