Sunlight
Aroids thrive in bright indirect light. Avoid excessive direct sun exposure; dappled sunlight is ideal. They can handle up to 3 hours of direct morning sunlight.

Soil
Fortunately, aroids are incredibly adaptable to different soil types, so you can't go too wrong with your choice. However, it's ideal to pot in well-draining soil that allows excess water to escape. Excessive water can lead to root rot, so it's crucial to find soil with this quality. Consider using perlite as well, as incorporating a small amount into the soil mix will help regulate water retention effectively.

Watering
Water your aroids once a week and allow the potting mix to dry out before watering again. Check the soil about 1-2 inches down; it should be dry to the touch. Increase watering during warmer months and fertilize during the growth season. Generally, the plant will droop to indicate it needs more water. Avoid overwatering or keeping the soil wet for too long as it can lead to root rot. If leaves turn yellow from overwatering, skip watering for a week or two.
