Peach Drift Rose
Rosa 'Meiggili'

Height: 18 inches
Spread: 24 inches
Sunlight: Full sun
Hardiness Zone: 4b

Description:
A distinct dwarf shrub rose producing repeated flushes of lovely cupped peach-colored blooms throughout the growing season. Its low, rounded habit makes it well suited for sunny garden beds, borders, and foundation plantings. Like all roses, it performs best in full sun and well-drained soil.

Ornamental Features:
Peach Drift Rose features showy clusters of lightly scented double peach, cup-shaped flowers at the ends of the branches from late spring through mid fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has dark green deciduous foliage, and the oval compound leaves do not develop notable fall color.

Landscape Attributes:
Peach Drift Rose is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a rounded growth habit. Its average texture blends into the landscape but can be balanced by one or two finer or coarser plants for an effective composition.

This is a high maintenance shrub that requires regular care and upkeep and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. It is a good choice for attracting bees and butterflies. Gardeners should be aware of the following characteristics that may warrant special consideration:
- Disease
- Spiny

Peach Drift Rose is recommended for the following landscape applications:
- Mass Planting
- Hedges and Screening
- General Garden Use

Planting & Growing:
Peach Drift Rose will grow to be about 18 inches tall at maturity, with a spread of 24 inches. It fills out right to the ground and does not necessarily require facer plants in front. It grows at a fast rate and under ideal conditions can be expected to live for approximately 20 years.

This rose should only be grown in full sunlight. It performs best in average to evenly moist soil and will not tolerate standing water. It is not particular about soil type or pH and is somewhat tolerant of urban pollution. This particular variety is an interspecific hybrid.
